C, February — February, 2008 |

More writing practice. He’s picke up capital letters from his friends’ name tags at school. I’ve been focusing on lowercase letters with him, because that’s what you see in print mostly.

Coldie Pants — February 1, 2008 at 7 pm |
It was cold, we were sick, and all I could do was sit on the sofa with C and knit him pants to try to help him feel better. He’s always asking me to knit him stuff, it’s cute. And the last pants I knit him barely fit when I was done with them so I knit these with an extra-long cuffable leg and the crazy stripey butt is the result of stash-diving after I ran out of the nice green I had for the legs. It worked out.

A visit from Alf Eivind and Eiri Luise — February 2, 2008 at 7 pm |
Hallvord, Eiri Luise, and Alf Eivind came visiting. It was nice to have a quiet little after-dinner visit with them. Especially adorable how Ruby and Eiri Luise sat down at the table to share a bolle.

handmade patch — Feb 5, 2008 at 6:25 pm |
Chris took a picture of this, I think just for calibration purposes or something. Anyway, they are super cute little “handmade by…” patches for attaching to your handknits (or what have you). I haven’t ever used one yet, but I couldn’t resist buying them.

Early Spring, Trip to the Store — February 9, 2008 at 2 pm |
It had been a bit warmer for a bit, and we decided to make an outing of grocery shopping. The walk to the store actually involved a lot of running back and forth and around in circles. I don’t know how the kids do it sometimes.
