Ruby showed a preference for watercolors during her first few months at school (as opposed to the tempura paints at the easel, the watercolors are done sitting at the table.) I thought I saved more of them, but I can only find these two now.

This fell out of a vent shaft in our bathroom. We live in an old building, but I’ve never found out exactly when it was built. But the vent shaft must have been made after 1924, when they changed the name back to Oslo from Chrsitiania (or before 1624, when the changed the name from Oslo to Christiania… but I doubt that :).

It was a bit cold, but it was sunny, and we needed to go stick hunting (kindling for fires). So I packed us up a picnic in our new picnic basket, we bundled up, and went out on the hunt.

I honestly didn’t remember when the kitties’ birthday was exactly (it was in middle November), but Chris was out of town and making a birthday cake for the cats seemed like a good way to spend a day and keep them occupied. Chris came back home in time for the party, and brought his new camera with him!
