Architectural Study of Savanna — January 1, 2004

We spent some time driving around Savanna, taking pictures of the houses that struck us as nice, comfortable, or particularly homey, or that had some interesting feature about them.

I’m not sure exactly when this was, but the trophy says 2004. It looks like Jen and Aurora had a lot of fun with this!

At Old Mill Park — Jan 1, 2004 at 3:00 pm

Old Mill Park is always on the Savanna tour agenda whenever we visit. I love this place! So many good childhood memories. They’ve also started a really nice rejuvenation project.

Family Visiting — January 3, 2004

Uncle Ronnie lives a ways away in Chicago, and it’s difficult to travel to get together for the holidays. So every year, after the new year, Jean, Thelma, and Ron get their families together for dinner out, about half way between Savanna and Chicago.
