After a while, Jeanie got tired of everyone taking pictures all the time. I don’t know who took this picture, but Randy (her son) would regularly try to take unflattering pictures of her. And then she would go “Oh, Randy!!!”

After her husband, Uncle Bob, died, Frieda moved from California into a nursing home back in Savanna, to be near her two nieces who were pretty much her closest family left. Here it looks like they are celebrating her birthday.

This was labelled “Copeland family, taken Easter 80 at Wayne’s — front Mary Jo, Scott, Georgie, Ardeth, Amy, Alison, standing in front of Art, Audrey on end next to Wayne.” There’s also Joe standing next to Art and Alison, and the little grey haired lady in the center is Thelma, who I assume labelled this and sent it to her sister Violet in Savanna (where I found it).

This was marked at the oldest log cabin in Illinois which apprently still exists as a tourist attraction. I don’t know why Glenn and Gary found themselves there, did they go on purpose?
