This is Dad’s beagle, Teddy. He was a great “rabbit” dog, but Gary and I thought of him as a pet. One of our games was to try to keep up with Teddy as he ran around the neighborhood. I emphasize try!

I’m not sure at all when these pictures were taken. Frieda (“Aunt Sis”) always looked youthful. The only labelling is on the folder, it says “Wynn Studio, Hollywood.” I’m pretty sure they moved to California in the 60’s.

Uncle Bob’s got a mean backhand! There was no date stamp, and this was not labelled at all, so the date is a wild guess based on the facts a) they don’t look that old, and b) Aunt Sis has dyed her hair blonde, which I think she did sometime in the late 50’s, or 60’s. I’m also guessing that this was taken after they moved to California.

This was date stamped 60. There was no other label on it, but Dad confirmed this was the Fecke Farm.

This must have been some sort of family picnic or reunion. Lillian Hollingworth is in the center, with her children Eleanor, Shirley, and Elaine, and their families. Susie did not recall where it was, possibly Monterey. Carl and Shirley are to the left, with Donna to Shirley’s right; I think that is her daughter Donna to the right and Donna’s husband and daughter Lori in front. Next to Donna is Lois. To the right of Lois is Elaine, with her son Phillip sitting on the ground. I’m not sure about the man in the center with the child on his shoulders, or the man behind Grandma Lillian (maybe Darryl). Susie and Sally (Elaine’s daughters) and in front of Grandma Lillian. Kathy is to the right, and Merrill Ann is in front with her son Danny. To the right is Eleanor, and I’m guessing that’s Mel in the background.
