Merrill Ann is getting married. Susie recalls that the last name of the man Merrill Ann is marrying is “Sitter”. However, I found a marriage record for Merrill Ann and Robert Sitter, and it wasn’t until 1964 (which would have made Susie 15 in these pictures… so that’s not quite right.) I didn’t find any earlier marriage records for Merrill Ann, but the California collection on ancestry.com starts in 1960.

Mom thinks she was 7. On this same trip they visited Disneyland, which was still under construction! Disneyland opened in 1955.

I assumes these picture were taken in Los Angeles, because that’s where Thelma Copeland and Wilhelmina Schoeneman lived in the 50’s. I don’t know who the other two people are.
