I’m not sure where these were, exactly. I think Carl and Violet’s family were living in Savanna at this time, so it could be Old Mill Park. But Grandma Schoeneman and Frieda (“Sis”) and Bob lived in Sterling, I think. Anyway, looks like they had a fun picnic. There are two children in the group photo that I coudn’t identify. These were not labelled, I guessed the date based on Jean and Thelma’s apparent age.

Grandma Jean labelled this picture “Aunt Sis and Bing”. I’m pretty sure it’s in their backyard in Sterling. The picture was colorized, seemingly using highlighters.
