This is the 1880 census record that reflects a number of Bonjours. It may be Fredrick Amiel, who ultimately settled in Apple River, in Illinois. But maybe he lived in Kansas before that? There are mismatches with the other data I have, so I think that this family of Bonjours may not be Fredrick Amiel and Julia Marie. Though there are similarities… Anyway, there is a F. H. Bonjour, age 60, who is a farmer, born in Switzerland. His wife is named as Julia A. (50) Their children are named as F. H. (?) (24), Charkes A. (22), Leo Paul (17), Anna E. (15), Eloise (13), Lucia A. (11), Zelia (9). Note that the census was recorded by Alfred Bonjour, who is no doubt related in some way, also.
