Weekend Walk

We took a quiet snowy weekend walk in the graveyard near our house. Not as goth as it sounds! It’s got nice walking paths, and is a convenient alternative to walking on the busy street that runs along it. Lots of people walk their dogs here, or just stroll through. I enjoy reading the headstones, and I think it’s interesting that they will often state the person’s occupation. For example: “Ignåfrød Hælefrusen, publisher”, like a final business card.

Well, aside from the beloved Ignåfrød, isn’t Munch buried there? And Ibsen? Or Grieg? But I guess they don’t need to say what they did… :)

Is C showing me his finger? I’m not sure.

We spend a lot of time on our walks actually just standing, waiting for C to catch up.
